Alone in the dark

Tick..tick..tick..the sounds of clock ticking rose around my cozy bedroom. During that, I was leaning back on my soft, fluffy bed with a thin blood-red bed sheet and a thick sunny-yellow comforter cover up my whole body except my head on the soft, fine pillow. The environment was so quite as a mouse except for the sound of ticking clock and fast-moving ceiling fan like a rotor of helicopter spin. I was very scared at that time as I always kept thinking about unusual things will appear in front of me with its ugly, hideous looking face with a red blazing eye staring at me. I can feel my adrenaline rush up through my veins quickly initiated my heartbeat to become faster and faster. Sweat started to emerge out from sweat pore on my skin. Every possibilities and imagination came out from my mind. Dark figure with a hideous looking face stare at me. It’s just my imagination.
I tried to be brave and distinguish all my creepiest imagination out from my mind. I tried to think about something happy and joyful. And yet, I managed to heal a little bit of my phobia to the dark. At the same time, I shut my eyes closely aided by my comforter all over my face so that I cannot see anything. All seems quiet and I tried to get a deep slumber. Out of the blue, my sensitive receptor in my ear detected a loud creak noise underneath my bed. I started to imagine gibberish things that will probably emerge out under my bed. However, I tried to think positively and not to think about the unwanted and creepiest things. It might be a rat or whatsoever pests which live and survive underneath my cramp and dirty bed. My mind is still confusing. Think about the happiest things in my life could ease my fear a little bit. So, I try to think about it.
Suddenly, I can feel that hairs behind my neck started to prickle up and my hand become very cold as ice. My level of fear rose rapidly as I can sense the presence of some kind of creepiest things or poltergeist in my room. I started to sweat and panic. Then, I tried to be brave by looking around my pitch dark room with only a fuzzy moonlight comes in from my window. As I have expected before this, an unwanted dark figure stand still in front of me. At that moment, all my body parts become numb and I cannot move at all. The dark figure comes nearer and nearer towards me. I cannot do anything as I’ve been paralyzed by some kind of dark magic that I always used it inside my video games. At the same time, I could hear the groan and moan sound from the dark figure which probably turns me into its prey or feast. I hold my breath as long as I could as I tried to pretend myself to be some kind of statue so that the dark figure moves away from me. I know this tips as I always watch the horror movie practice this act to become invisible from the creature. And it was totally effective after the dark figure move away from me.
The dark figure look away and start to sniff on my comforter as it probably could smell the aroma of fresh flesh meat of my legs. Try to act brave, I lift up both of my legs and kick the dark figure away from me and my bed. The dark figure moans and falls backwards onto the floor. Out of the blue, I could hear the dark figure or creature scream in pain like a human. Without any hesitation, I rush up out from my bed and switch on the table light beside my bed. After that, I was shocked and felt a little bit annoyed as I figure out that the dark figure was my own little brother who tried to fool me. My brother cried in pain and at the same time giggles as I have been fooled by his stupid trick and acts which eventually end up with my anger and pain. Such a foolish act end with a pain and anger. At the same time, it would be my memorable experience as my fear into the dark turns into anger. From that moment, I did not scare anymore of the dark because of this foolish act with a slight humor from my little brother.

Chemistry is My Life

Actually, I have many kind of subjects that I liked the most during my secondary school. When I went up into an upper form, I have studied new subjects which were biology, chemistry, physics and additional mathematics. All of these subjects were my favorite subject but the most interested one for me was chemistry. When I first encountered and studied this subject, I found that it was difficult to learn as it was still new to me. Even though at first I thought it was a difficult subject, when it comes to an experiment, I’m fully interested with it. Since that, I finally revealed that I’m good at chemistry and eager to conduct an experiment related to chemistry.
Why I like chemistry so much? One of the reasons why I like chemistry was I like to do an experiment during chemistry’s class. During the chemistry class, my teacher always wanted us to do an experiment and record all the observations and results from the experiment. In that case, I always felt enthusiastic to make the experiment and find the results. Besides that, it also gives me a pleasure as I managed to do the experiment and come out with the results. Apart from that, from the experiment, I could see the chemical reactions takes place which involved the changing of colors, the formation of bubble gases and sometime gives out an unpleasant smell as well. These observations gave me a pleasure as I could see the changes occur during the chemical reactions.
Furthermore, as I admired chemistry very much, I had participated in Young Scientist Generation in National Level. My chemistry project entitled “Mimosa Pudica as an asmathic cure” had been chosen as a project which I would bring it into the competition. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to win any prizes from the competition but I managed to amaze the judges which were the professor-professor from university in Malaysia. They praised me as I managed to come out with this outstanding and remarkable idea which it was impossible for a student in secondary school research about it.
Besides that, I also had been given an award for being a best student in chemistry subject for two consecutive semesters. The secret of my success was because I tend to give a lecture about chemistry’s topic with my friends in front of the class during prep time. When I gave them a lecture, I didn’t just want them to understand about that topic, but I also can enhance my understanding about the topic. Thus, it’s not just gave benefits to them, but it also gave benefits to me as well. For me, it’s such a convenient and effective way to enhance our understanding about the topic in chemistry.
From the reasons I have stated above, it also related about my future ambition before this which I wanted to be a chemical engineer. As I have seen the prospective strength of myself in chemistry, it should give me the advantages and bonuses for my future ambition. It will become much easier in the college as I have mastered the basic of chemistry. Chemical engineering wasn’t impossible for me to be. Insya-Alah. With a lot of effort and patient, I hopefully managed to achieve my dreams and goals in my life.
As I interested the chemistry so much, I’m very proud off to show my interest and share with everyone by explaining one of my favorite topic in Chemistry. One of my favorite topics in chemistry is the electrochemistry. What do you know the meaning of electrochemistry? Actually, electrochemistry is a branch of chemistry that studies chemical reactions which take place in a solution at the interface of an electron conductor (a metal or a semiconductor) and an ionic conductor (the electrolyte), and which involve electron transfer between the electrode and the electrolyte or species in solution. It’s mainly involving the process of electrolysis. Electrolysis is a process which breaks down complex molecule into simpler products by direct the electric current on them. It involves the usage of two different electrode which were anode for positively charged and cathode for the negatively charged. The electrode then immersed into two different chemical solution called electrolyte. Then, as the electric current flow through the electrolyte, the chemical reactions will occur. Some observations made from the chemical reactions involved the released of bubble gases, changing of colors and corrosion on electrode. All of these occurrences are the results of the reaction between the electrolyte and the electrode. From the results, we can do the chemical equations and also determine the products formed. Apart from that, we also can determine the products by making a series of confirmatory test such as bubble it through the limewater to test the presence of carbon dioxide, using a glowing wooden splinter to test for oxygen and others.
It was fun to do and learn chemistry. It was not difficult actually but it was simply easy as an ABC if you have a strong interest on it. Understanding of certain subject comes when we have a deep interest on the subject. Thus, make fun to this subject as I do so that you can be success and have a good grade on it. Even though before this I have been awarded as a best student in this subject, actually, not all of the examinations I performed well, but, I also have once got nearly failed too in this subject. Thus, bear in mind that success comes from failure. My favorite own created quotation is “making mistakes is a part of learning toward success. Don’t ever give up because the real success is already in your hand. With a lot of effort and patient, you will manage to grab it.” Once again I wanted to underscore that chemistry is MY LIFE!!!

Symphony of My Life

First and foremost, I would like to share about my interests that keep makes me happy. Happiness is a joy. Everyone wanted to be happy. But, how we want to create this happiness? For me, I like to entertain myself by showing my interest on playing musical instruments such as piano or a keyboard. I always played it during my leisure time in a purpose to entertain myself. I gain my interest towards playing musical instruments especially piano/keyboard since I move into the upper form which was form 4. My friend taught me how to play a keyboard and I just try it. Then, my friend told me that I have a talent in playing keyboard/piano as I managed to catch up very quickly in what he taught me. I found that I was easily to memorize the keys and the melody through my ears only. On that time, I’ve discover my special ability and talent in playing keyboard/piano. Since that, I used to practice play it everyday using my school’s keyboard. I’ve managed to play much kind of songs which I thought it was easily to play. Whenever I played a song, the calm and sentimental piano’s sound makes me felt peaceful and even relaxed my mind too. I love the smooth sound of piano’s key as I played it. It affects my mind and even my soul. Since that, I have an interest in playing piano.

Even though I didn’t have a specifically piano class, but I tried learnt them by myself using my own ears and through the internet. I don’t know why I’m so obsessed with piano. Almost every day and every night I practiced played piano/keyboard. With that much of practice, I thought that I have improved a lot. There were a lot of songs I’ve learnt such as Kiroro Miraie, the Japanese songs, River flows in you, kiss the rain and Canon in D. With a lot of practice and effort, I managed to play it perfectly and smoothly like a professional pianist. Since that, I knew and fully understand that practices makes perfect.

What do you have to prepare for the interview?..wanna some tips from me?...

After your hard work in submitting your application, you now have been shortlisted to attend an interview to confirm if you really will be successful. Here are some tips for you in order to prepare confidently for the interview.
Generally, all scholarships are different. So you will need to approach each interview accordingly. There has to be a thorough preparation by you first before you attend the interview.

1. Preparation

The research which you have carried out during your application stage will now come in useful. If you have not done so, now is the time to do some serious research. Find out about the organisation that offers this scholarship. Why they are giving out the scholarship? Try to know more about the organisation itself and their history. When researching, make notes of important points and facts which you can use during the interview. It will show that you are keen on the organisation, that you are smart and a motivated person by what you have collected. Also, if you know the names of past recipients, it may be wise to contact them and talk to them about the scholarship. Learn from them and you may even be inspired by them when you compare their goals and yours. Contact the company’s human resource department to learn about the interviewing process before hand. If you do not know the procedures, you may not feel relax and be yourself during the interview.

2. Familiarisation

It is important that you familiarised yourself with a few things. Go through what you have already submitted and provided to the sponsor in your application letter previously and familiarise with the documentation submitted.
Familiarise yourself with the questions which you can be asked by the interviewers. Prepare yourself some thorough questioning. Remember, the sponsor will be choosing those who can demonstrate an all round ability in various range of topics. The type of questioning will depend on the scholarship type. Some general questions are:

  • Tell us about yourself, what kind of person are you. What skills do you have? What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  • Tell us about the state of affairs of the world with respect to current and social issues. What are your strengths and weakness?
  • What is your mission that you have set yourself? Your short and long term goals.
  • Why do you want this scholarship and why you are the right candidate for it?
  • Why did you choose this scholarship to advance your mission? Why do you think you can achieve your mission with this scholarship?
  • Tell us about your achievements and what you have done in the past?
  • Describe what sort of person we are looking for in the candidate.

3. On the Day of Interview

Please keep the following in mind:

  • Dress formally and conservatively, because first impression is very important. You want to look your best.
  • Arrive early in case you run into some delay to the venue. There may be traffic jams and delay in finding the right location.
  • Rehearse in your mind, a revision of your prepared answers.
  • Bring all relevant documentation.
  • Mind you manners, switch off your mobile phone before the interview.

4. During the Interview

If you have prepared well, your confidence will show. Naturally, it is utmost important to demonstrate you naturalness. Don’t be someone else you are not by putting on an accent or trying too hard to converse and please unnaturally.
It is critical that during the interview you demonstrate too that you are specific and straight to the point. Ensure your conversation and liaison with the interviewers is interesting and you show your interest in what they are saying by listening intently and responding appropriately. Always support your point with documentation or evidence. Treat the interview session as if it is a dialogue or conversation. If you understand what they are looking for, you will know how to response interestingly to those questions asked.
Also, please be reminded that although you are there to be interviewed, the interviewers would not mind to be interviewed by you. Hence, it is wise to prepare some questions to ask the interviewers. They too, need to know if you can ask intelligent questions and it will project your image well if you are able to show your interest in their organisation and that you have done plenty of homework about them.

That's all that I can share you about my tips on interview..hope it can be useful...

F.R.I.E.N.D.S @ K.A.W.A.N @ R.A.K.A.N @ S.A.H.A.B.A.T

Friends....people who always be in our side n share our feeling...what's that mean??

Honestly I want to say, I don't understand what is the meaning of friends before....juz played with them, share our happiness n even our feelings...soon, when I went up for the upper form..I realized that friends are important in our life....why??

When we grown up..as we reach the upper form..we need a friend by our side...why?..because without friends..we can't survive n our life will not be perfect...as we grown up..there are many challenge that we need to go through..so, many problems would come..dilemma..conflict...so much troubles...who gonna solve this problem??...who are we gonna share our problems??..of course our friends..not our teachers...even difficult to tell to our parents..n counselor...why must friends??..because friends are closest to us..much easier for us to confess n share our feelings n problems...because they same with us...still moving forward into a real world..same age n even attitude...that's really odd...hmm?

From my experiences, those who like to be alone is the people who didn't know what is the meaning of friendship...but, soon, they will know...when we have a friend..we could share any information n experiences...that's important...especially when we have finished our study in secondary school...we need to get many information about the college that we want to choose for our future study...the scholarship for those who are willing to pursue their study in overseas...without friends..we are unable to gather all this useful information...even though u still can search it on the internet, but yet still doesn't enough...think about it..for the future...

Besides, when we share our experiences with our friends...I'm sure that we will be much matured n know more about things...yup..I agree with this statement..why I said that?..this sharing experiences can widened our mind to the world n much exposure...yet, we will know many things....it's not a waste if we have many friends...

Apart from that, friends also can help us in solving our problems especially in studying about the topics that we didn't understand...we should find a friend to teach for us...n we as a friend should help them...besides, friends also can gave us a moral support instead of our parents n teachers when we are feeling down n depressed...

Think about it...n be sure to make use of your friend...hehe...:)

Apa itu K.A.W.A.N.?

K - kehadirannya menceriakan....

A - antaranya tiada kecurigaan.....

W - walaupun jauh namun dkt di hati....

A - ambil berat....

N - namanya sentiasa di hati....

1. Grill

Those who handle this part need to cook patties according to it's mode...there are 4 mode..low, med, high n ultra...each mode have it's own quantities of patties need to be cooked...n each type of patties have different quantities need to be cooked according to different mode...sounds confusing..but u will get what I meant..there are 3 types of patties need to be cooked in the grill which are 10-1 patties for common burger, 4-1 patties for big n tasty n quarter pounder and pb patties for prosperity burger...basically, u need to cook and control all this products..that's grill's duty..if u want to cook the patties...u need to cook according to its mode n how much patties left in the tray..

Mode
  • low
10-1 - 2 tray, 2 qty

4-1 ` - 1 tray, 1 qty

pb - 2 qty

  • med
10-1 - 4 tray, 4 qty

4-1 - 2 tray, 1 qty

pb - 4 qty

  • high
10-1 - 4 tray, 6 qty

4-1 - 2 tray, 1 qty

pb - 6 qty

  • ultra
10-1 - 4 tray, 8 qty

4-1 - 2 tray, 2 qty

pb - 12 qty

2. Vet

Same with grill but has slightly different...grill part use a grill to cook while vet part cook by immersing the patties inside the oil..that's the different...this part using oil to cook but grill didn't use it..the concept is still the same but u need to cook different products..in this part, u need to cook n control this products which are nugget, fillet, chicken pb, mcchicken, apple pie, chicken patties and spicy deluxe..

Mode
  • low
mcChicken - 2 tray, 2 qty
nugget - 1 tray, 12 qty

chicken patties - 2 tray, 1 qty

fillet of fish - 3 tray, 4 qty

apple pie - 4 qty
pb chicken -3 tray, 6 qty

  • high
mcChicken - 3 tray, 6 qty
nugget - 2 tray, 32 qty

spicy deluxe - 3 tray, 6 qty

chicken patties - 2 tray, 2 qty

fillet of fish - 3 tray, 6 qty

apple pie - 6 qty
pb chicken - 3 tray, 6 qty

  • ultra

apple pie - 12 qty
pb chicken - 3 tray, 6 qty

3. Incinerator

what to do in this part??...juz control the KVS, toast the bun and bring out the wrapper...that's it...there are 5 types of buns u need to memorize which are regular bun, spicy deluxe bun, big mac bun, sesame seed bun and pb bun. All of them need to be toasted first inside the toaster..besides, they also responsible for the chicken n the porridge..

  • regular bun - beef burger, cheese burger, double cheese, fillet of fish and chicken burger
  • sesame seed bun - mcChicken, quarter pounder and big n tasy
  • spicy deluxe bun - spicy deluxe burger only
  • pb bun - pb beef and pb chickem
  • big mac bun - big mac burger only

4. Assembler

Duty for this part is dressing the burger..give them a sauce, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, fresh onions, cheese, big mac sauce, fillet sauce, mustard.....dressing..dressing..dressing...hehe...

5. Chaser

Chaser responsible to put the patties on each type of burger n wrap it up...

6. Fries (Don't know what is the term)

Those who cook for the fries....

That's the 6 main part of kitchen crew...basically, they will work in a
team...teamwork..respond..all that kind of stuff is very important to ensure the smooth of the products....besides, they also need to keep their work place clean n tidy...so, from that, I've learnt new term which is CAYG stands for Clean As You Go...we need to practice this concept as long as we work...

Runner is the person who help the cashier to grab the things that the customer order...if the products running low, I need to stock up the products...meaning that I need to grab another one in the freezer...hassle is important especially for the kitchen crew so that the products going out smoothly without running down..when the products running down, then the customer will get angry..huhu...

Breakfast??..i don't know much about how to prepare a breakfast because jarang mok keja pagi..hehe...but the concept is still the same...but juz different products yang knak polah...additional products such as sausage, scramble egg, muffin, hot cakes and hashbrown...

1 month keja kat mcD KLCC...always full of people n tourists...bz all the day...even non stop working..but still fun n enjoy...the most memorable experienced I've ever had...working at McDonald's KLCC...hehe...:)
